I have also provided Human Resource Consulting and have assisted with creation of an Employee Handbook appropriate to the business at hand, to ensure that complicated statutes and regulations are complied with to help insulate my clients from liability. For example, I have consulted with urgent care doctors' offices to ensure that they had in force appropriate policies and procedures to comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and patient confidentiality.

I have drafted Non-Compete Agreements , agreements necessary to ensure that independent contractors are not mistaken for employees, and have consulted to ensure that policies, practices and procedures do not violate federal laws, such as the Fair Labor Standards Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Religious Freedom Restoration Act , and many others.
